Hello, world.





Unnamed baby boy Buchheit arrived ahead of schedule this morning at 9:54 am. He weighs 4 pounds, 6 ounces, and seems to be doing well.

With temperatures soaring to triple digits this weekend, we got Camilla a kiddie pool to help her beat the heat.

It all started with "Daddy & Me" - a photo book I created for Camilla for Father's Day (2007). Camilla loved having the book read to her and recently started requesting for a "Mommy & Me" version.

Look at the camera, Camilla. Say, "Cheese!"

Camilla has long lost interest in holding still for pictures.

Camilla loves running around in our cul-de-sac. This time was especially exciting since she got to stay out later than usual.

I think there may have been some snorting along with all that laughter. Boy, was she having a blast!

Well...I guess you can hardly blame Camilla for her method of showing affection...



What can I say? It's very hard to resist the baby girl.

Sometimes, it's not easy being a recipient of Camilla's affection, it might even get a little painful:

"Ugh! Okay, don't kick Mommy in the belly!"

Due in July

Just before I took these pictures, Camilla had been making a ruckus dragging the stool across the floor. At first, I thought she was up to her usual antics of just making a ruckus. But as I sat there and observed, I noticed that her intent was clear: Bring stool over, step on, play with picture frames, press buttons.



Mission accomplished!

Going through some old pictures and came across a couple of family pictures:


This one was taken by Camilla's Aunt Teresa back in June 2006

This makes me realize that there aren't very many pictures of Camilla with both her mommy and daddy in it. We should do something about that.
